Silk Capes are a staple of dress-up and dramatic play. They are silky soft yet durably made from heavyweight silk. An elastic neckband and shell button make our Capes easy to put on and take off and elegantly simple for children!

Made of good material. It's been easy to put on and take off of my kid. Kinda pricy though.

Cape was extremely thin and completely see through. I contacted Sarahā€™s silks and was provided a replacement that was much thicker.

Star silk Cape

It is a little too long for my 4 year old so I tie the corners in a knot to help lift it off the ground. I was surprised how thin the button is and think a Frog Fastener/Chinese Knot instead would make this better so that younger children can use it without the fear of a button coming off or breaking.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Star Silk Cape

My 5 year old LOVES his star silk cape. It is very easy for him to put on and take off by himself due to the elastic around the neck...not too lose and not too tight...just right. Thank you.

Just what I was hoping for

I ordered these for my granddaughterā€¦her birthday is still a few weeks away so she does not have them yet butā€¦I am a fiber artist and I am so impressed with the quality of the materials.. the silk is high quality and floats through the air. The craftsmanship is evident in the sewing and thoughtfulness of the details, shell button as fasteners, finger loops at the other edges of the wings, all the carefully finished edges. These are heirloom quality pieces that with fire up imaginations and last for years!
