Playfort

We were gifted this house tent and the dowels wont stay in the holes. The structure cannot support itself and won't hold together for my littles to play in it. It gave them a lot of frustration. Some sticks seem wider on one side than another or some holes must be smaller and bigger. Overall feels like a waste. We noticed some sticks are definitely tapered. There's no booklet for trouble shooting or ideas for building a sound structure. I understand the creative aspect of the open ended building but the pieces dont even hold together. The silk is beautiful. We were gifted the Peter Rabbit playfort.

We were so excited about this playfort, my daughters favorite thing is to build forts, unfortunately the sticks souldnt stay in the holes and I reached out to custonef service and they let me know that its been an issue wurg the wood expsnding due to weather which ahould be stated on the item, they sent me a wax stick and thet didbt help either!! Huge waste of money I spent 300$ on tbis whole fort building set and now im stuck with no fort abd just silks! Im very disappointed!!

Please pass on this fort. It doesn’t stay together. The slightest movement it comes apart. It was super frustrating for the kids. Super disappointed.

I love the idea but it doesn’t stay together. Some of the holes are too big and the poles automatically fall out. Some of our poles are warped and crooked so it throws off the whole structure. It’s constantly falling apart.

I want so bad to like this but the quality isn’t great. For the price I would have expected way more.

It’s cute but really not stable. We had to stuff paper jnto the connecting holes because they are not tight. It’s also not very sturdy. Very cute bur not worth $86.

My kids have thoroughly enjoyed their fort. My 2 and 4 year old are having so much fun. The first thing they want to do every morning is build the fort (house). It’s wonderful.

My daughter loves using silks and play clips so I purchased the playfort to further her endeavors. I know she will love it!

a gift for my granddaughter -- she will be thrilled once she opens it. My daughter told me she had been waiting months for this to be available again so I was so glad I was able to purchase it for her.

My grands loved, loved this one! And just ‘unbuild’ the fort, put it in the bag(included), and send it back home with them across state lines. You have created a real winner with this one!

I think they must have redesigned this since the negative reviews: our fort was super easy for our 6 year old to assemble, and it's now become a permanent installation in his room (he loves how the cat sleeps in it). If you really walk directly into it a rod may come loose, but overall I've been super impressed by how sturdy and well-sanded all the pieces are; it feels very consciously designed for kids, and can handle bumps without a problem. So much better than other fort kits we've tried! My only minor complaint is that as a toy it feels a little less open-ended: unless you get two fort kits, there's really only one design you can make with this kit. But already there's been a lot of variation with what happens with the scarves, blankets and pillows that go inside, lights, etc — our kid loves it.

So far, it is beloved and regularly used by my group of 3-5 year olds …

This is a very fun giant toy great for full body play! We have a ton of clips and playsilks that can be layered for so many experiences. My four year old easily got the hang of building it on her own...We plan on buying another set soon!

My daughter loved her playfort! The only thing I wish was that the dowels would be a little ticker.

I ordered two of these the minute I got the email announcing them. We had a rainy weekend when they arrived and loved setting up different forts, very lightweight, easy to put together! Such a win!
