Make a Corner Fort
with Playsilks

A Cozy Hideaway in Minutes, No Furniture Required

There is something magical about a hideaway that appears in the corner of a room. A Double Playsilk, a few push pins and a pair of Playclips are all it takes to turn any corner into a cozy tent for reading, resting, or hosting a tea party for stuffed friends. It comes together in minutes, packs away just as quickly, and leaves your walls none the worse for wear.

What You'll Need:

• A Double Playsilk
• Two classic Playsilks
• Playclips
• Push pins
• Optional: a Giant Playsilk to decorate the front

A note on push pins: they won't ruin your Playsilks. Just be gentle when playing.

Steps

1. Find the middle of your Double Playsilk and tie a knot there.

2. Push a pin through the knot and into the wall at the middle of your corner. This is the peak of your tent.

3. Pin each side of the Double Playsilk out along the two walls to make the tent shape.

4. Use your two classic Playsilks and Playclips to make the doors. Clip one Playsilk to each front edge so they can be drawn open and closed.

5. For a finishing touch, drape a Giant Playsilk across the front to decorate the entrance.

Then climb inside! Bring a book, a lantern, a few wooden friends, and let the stories begin.
