We are absolutely in love with the our silks. The double rainbow silk is perfect for imaginative play. We use it for the top of our Waldorf arch, but it has many other uses.

My big girl (11) asked for a new giant silk for the summer because she loves to sleep with them on hot nights.

I ordered during a busy sale. After I ordered I realized they did have the color I wanted.🤦‍♀️

I purchased the double rainbow play silk to use in the music classes that I teach. So far, we’ve used it as a bridge, a tunnel, a rainbow, a river, and a “parachute”. It’s absolutely perfect and the children get so excited when I pull it out! I would definitely recommend any products from Sarah’s Silks, I use them in all my programs. It’s for my Granddaughter. She hasn’t gotten it yet.

Looking forward to using our new rainbow garland and phoenix silk (ooooooo!) for birthdays at forest school. They are lovely! All of my play silks have lasted for years and are used for all kinds of things—dress up, simple tents, flags. The colors are beautiful and the texture so nourishing that I wear them around my neck for warmth.

My kids (and I) love playing with this big long play silk. It’s super fun for forts and a mommy queen cape and all the random things. I wish it was a bit wider but it’s a lovely item and I knew the dimensions before purchasing. The colors are sweet and look just like the photos.

I love all of Sarah Silks products because they get used for years and years. I have wanted a big silk for the kiddos fort building and this did not disappoint. Granted they haven’t actually used it for fort building yet but it’s been a lovely cape, dance prop, and pretend play dog leash. My 8 year old and 6 year old love it and silk makes it so much fancier and special in their eyes!

Purchased this for my daughter’s first birthday. The color is stunning! Beyond gorgeous. We’ll be using it to cover her fort when she’s a little older too. Right now she plays peek-a-boo and we drape it / swing it around her.

The only thing I’d like to point out about this silk is it’s not as soft as all our others from Sarah’s. It feels thicker which will hopefully mean it’s more durable. But it’s more rough to the touch. Not as smooth and silky as our others. Not sure if sourcing has changed or what. But just making a note to others. :)

We used this gorgeous silk to cover an outdoor trellis and make a hiding space for our kids. They love having their own special space and it’s so beautiful! The silk has held up really well to the weather so far though I’m sure we will take it down when the weather is especially bad. It’s just gorgeous!

I love the size and the colors are so vibrant. Can't wait to give it to my daughter for St. Patrick's Day. She already has a smaller one that she loves so I'm sure this one will be an even bigger hit! It is the perfect size for forts but I'm sure she'll find so many more ways to use this amazing silk.

These are the best playthings in the world! During this pandemic year, I have been helping to care for and play with my pod of four grandkids from baby to 12 year old, four parents, and my professor husband and me. We have mini silks, giant silks, double silks, full sized silks, wooden clips, soft swords, garlands, and blossom cloth. From playing peek-a-boo with the baby to creating a large, silk-draped dance and theatre space in the living room, to gathering leaves and moss in the woods, and capturing rainwater— you name it, we’ve done it! It is rare to find anything that is quite literally simply beautiful, but each one of these silks is just that. They live in a tumble bin so that anyone can use them whenever. They also provide great sensory comfort at nap time, or during a meltdown. They love the to dance in the wind, as one of the four-year-olds put it. I cannot rave enough!
