They are all so flimsyā€¦ I honestly do not understand the hype. Kids pulled fibers the first day, no way they can play outdoors or with any toys without making a hole in them. Get your kids something else, itā€™s too flimsy for the price.

Most of our Playsilks are made from lightweightĀ silk which is more airy andĀ flowyĀ but also more delicate and prone to rips, tears, etc. Additionally, we also offer other Playsilks, such as the ones that are printed, which are made with heavyweight silk that is lessĀ flowyĀ but stronger and moreĀ durable.Ā We appreciate your honest feedback and we're sorry to hear the playsilks didn't meet your expectations. My daughter really loves her playsilks. We have been using them for lots of open ended play and role playing.
My only complaint is that they snag really easy on some of her other toys. She loves using them with her animal figurines but they do snag a lot on them. Due to that Iā€™m not sure how long they will actually last and be in good condition for.

Thank you for the feedback! We have some silks that have gotten runs in them, but have lasted for years and years of play still! Silk is such an interesting fabric, delicate and strong at the same time!

Island and Water Playsilks

It is a gift for my grandsons who love using the playsilks for their play. They wanted the ocean and sea playsilks to put their small island play silks in the middle of for play with their dinosaurs. The boys spent the last two years living in Kauai and are now on New Zealand's North Island. Prior to moving to Hawaii they spent two years on New Zealand's South Island. So, you can see why they enjoy the island, ocean and seal playsilks.
