We have mini red, green and yellow playsilks that we use as flags for car races and as stoplights. Then, we put regular size blue playsilks on the ground for water hazards to drive through or jump over, brown ones for mud, red ones for lava, green ones for grass, etc. and we hold other blue ones up over the path for the kids to drive through waterfalls. Endless possibilities!

We love hanging out playsilks up on the windows and using small world additions for imaginative play. My son also loves building “zoos” with blocks and using different play silks as the enclosures. It gives us the opportunity to talk about different environments that animals live in.

Our favorite way to use play silks are for playing home/mommy/babies! They can be aprons, baby swaddles, tummy time mats, rugs, towels, and more in all of the make believe play!
