I have a 11 month old and 2 year old. My 11 month old has been in the hospital 28 times this year and we love tying the scarfs to her hospital bed for some sensory play or to hold her toys! My 2 year old loves dancing with her silks. Such a fun, versatile, toy! Can’t wait to add more to our collection!

I have used play silks in my preschool classrooms and now as a twin parent myself. One of my favorite activities with play silks is light play – seeing how light travels through the fabrics, shadow and shapes, and how sunlight and flashlight is different in a variety of settings!

We use our playsilks in so many ways but my favorite is when my daughter turns into a fairy. My two year old holds a play silks in each hand and runs around yelling “Go fairy goooo”. It’s the cutest and most whimsical thing ever 🧚

My little ones love using them to make baby carriers for their cuddly toy animals and also like to rush through the house wearing them as capes! Of course one colour isn’t enough so they often wear multiple at once. They also get used as bandages for playing doctors.

Be sure to get a fire silk or several for “the floor is lava”. That’s a fan favorite in our house. Of course we always need a crown or headband, a wand or sword, with our chosen cape to go with it. Everything from Sarah’s Silks is a refreshing interruption from screen time while simultaneously looking like it was hand-drawn in a storybook. Can’t even describe my love this shop.

My little toddler and I love using the minis in the bath to trap air bubbles and then to stick to our bodies. Outside the bath she lives to use them to hide hehe
