What do you like about playsilks?

We would love to hear about how your kids play with silks and pretend.

  • I love the endless possibilities of play that my kids come up with. We only have the small squares and the kids use them as clothes to dress up their animals and babies. I’d love to get some bigger silks as we don’t have any yet! Good luck everyone! !

  • My daughter loves her rainbow silk. It is a skirt, a hat, a baby blanket, and on and on. I am about to teach in a classroom for the first time in 14 years. My PreK students will be able to do so much with some silks.

  • My daughters wear them in every way imaginable. On their heads as veils or pirate scarves. On their necks as scarves and capes. On their waists as fairy skirts, princess dressed or just “fancy girls.” ;)

  • My daughter and I put a blue play silk over our heads together and pretend like we’re under water. I ask her what kinds of fish she can see.

  • At our home, playsilks become capes, head scarves, sashes for pirates and ninjas, pools of water, skies above, and soft lovies.

  • My 22 month old loves to simply wave them around, pretend they are blowing in the wind by blowing on them, and play peek a boo. I am really, really hoping to get more for landscapes and dress up too!

  • We love Sarah’s Silks at our house! Our kids are 5, 3, and newest addition due at the end of the year.
