A Soft Welcome to Moominvalley 🌿
Introducing Moomin x Sarah’s Silks + a special giveaway
There is a place where the days move a little slower…
where friends gather without hurry,
where adventure and rest live side by side,
and where being yourself is always enough.
This is Moominvalley.
We are so happy to share our Moomin x Sarah’s Silks collection, inspired by Tove Jansson’s beloved world — a place that has quietly held generations of children (and grown-ups) in its gentle wisdom.
In Moominvalley, stories unfold in simple ways:
a picnic, a wander, a moment of courage, a return home.
These are the same rhythms we hold dear in children’s play — open-ended, imaginative, and deeply nourishing.
Our new collection invites children to step into that world…
to wrap themselves in softness,
to create their own stories,
and to discover that creativity itself is a kind of healing.
To celebrate, we’re offering a Moomin x Sarah’s Silks giveaway.
One winner will receive a curated bundle from our collection.

We have Finnish heritage and discovered the Moomins after our son was born! His favorite character is Snufkin!

I am just entering the world of open ended play with my 2 year old and 1 year old. We have nothing yet, but Sarah’s silks was recommended to me! I’m a SAHM on a tight budget, and would LOVE to gift these to my babies! Beautiful collection!

Imaginative play is a window into my daughter’s heart. She uses pretend play to communicate her thoughts and ideas. She uses role play to communicate her needs. It’s everything to us. Imagination is our daughter’s language.

We have a Moomin poster hanging in the kids’ library. I’ve loved these characters ever since I was a child and am passing down the joy the stories gave me. I want their pretend play to be full of imagination and heart.

This collection is absolutely adorable and I would love to have it in my pre-k classroom! Imaginative play is Amazon as it provides my kids with endless ways to play with things and creates an open mind. These would be so fun to use in centers since they provide endless ideas and students can use them to learn in different ways. It would also provide my students with different tactile experiences which they love and keeps them engaged☺️🩷🌈

I love seeing the way my daughter’s eyes light up when she’s immersed in her own world of imaginative play. As her father, I’d love to make her world even more magical with this special collection!

Moomin reminds me of my childhood so much since it’s a popular character in Asia and my grandparents would often gift me character goodies. Seeing Moomin allows me to reminisce about the magic of my childhood, despite not having much!
I have a toddler boy now and am expecting a girl this summer. I hope I’m able to spread as much magic as I’ve felt when I was younger and teach my children the importance of imagination and having fun with what you have at hand.

I grew up in a home where imagination was part of my everyday life. my mom made things feel whimsical and magical in the smallest of ways. It shaped how I see childhood completely!
Now, imaginative play feels like a way to give that same magic to my daughter. To me it’s about creating a space where she can dream, explore, and believe in a little bit of magic every day! Moomin is especially so special to us. While going through fertility treatment we got a moomin book as one of the first books we bought in hopes to give our baby, as it was my husbands favorite as a child. Now that she’s here, it is one of her favorites to snuggle up and read!

my favorite one is Stinky, he is so bold and such a wild spirit. I got my 1.5 year old daughter a stinky plushie when she was 2 months. Now she takes him on the rides in her doll stroller and treats like a baby hahahaha. Some would say he is ugly or even scary, but for a little girl he is as cute as doll. Children look beyond beauty standards and can imagine everything !

I had browsed the site and felt like I stumbled on a secret drop when I saw Moomin listed but no big announcement yet! Love how it isn’t over stimulating but still interesting and engaging for my little ones

I never got into imaginative play much so it’s magical to me when our kids do.

Such a beautiful release! My daughter is turning 3 soon and her ability to play pretend is growing by the day. I love to watch her play with her silks, and invent new ways to use them. Thanks for being a part of our play!
