We are so happy to share our Moomin x Sarah’s Silks collection, inspired by Tove Jansson’s beloved world — a place that has quietly held generations of children (and grown-ups) in its gentle wisdom.

These are the same rhythms we hold dear in children’s play — open-ended, imaginative, and deeply nourishing.
Our new collection invites children to step into that world…
to wrap themselves in softness,
to create their own stories,
and to discover that creativity itself is a kind of healing.

This was the first book we ever read to our son and it’s become his favorite. He loves Snufkin and we’re going to make him a little costume for Halloween this year. Sarah’s Silks and Moomin is such a great crossover!

Our friends from Finland gifted us with all the moomin cartoon collections. We all have corresponding moomin coffee cups (me moomin mamma). I have a Moomin teapot and cups and a Moomin pie dish all from Finland. We were Moomin fans before the USA really knew about these amazing stories. I am so happy that Americans are starting to enjoy Moomin as much as we have for the last 20 years.

I was introduced to the Moomins as a kid, by our exchange student from Finland. I love that it’s starting to get traction here in the US and there are so many cute Moomin things now. My three girls have caught the Moomin craze as well.

My favorite moonmin characters are Snufkin and the Hattifatteners aaaand of course Little My.
We loved Moomin growing up and it’s been fun to have so many ways to share it now with my kids

Moomin is the cutest cartoon that gives me so much nostalgia! I love the uniqueness of each character, some still don’t make complete sense to me. But that’s the most fun thing about imaginative play. It can be anything you want!

My daughter (and I) love the Moomins! Her favorite characters are Moominmama and Little My. For favorite book character day at school, we made a Moominmama costume and she got to take her books to share the Moomins with her classmates!

I am so excited for this collection! Sarah’s Silks and Moominvalley combine perfectly with their shared sense of slow living and imaginative play. My children love using their silks for dress-up, as doll blankets, and as dressage for animal toys – I can’t wait to share the magic of Moomins with them, too!
