A Soft Welcome to Moominvalley 🌿
Introducing Moomin x Sarah’s Silks + a special giveaway
There is a place where the days move a little slower…
where friends gather without hurry,
where adventure and rest live side by side,
and where being yourself is always enough.
This is Moominvalley.
We are so happy to share our Moomin x Sarah’s Silks collection, inspired by Tove Jansson’s beloved world — a place that has quietly held generations of children (and grown-ups) in its gentle wisdom.
In Moominvalley, stories unfold in simple ways:
a picnic, a wander, a moment of courage, a return home.
These are the same rhythms we hold dear in children’s play — open-ended, imaginative, and deeply nourishing.
Our new collection invites children to step into that world…
to wrap themselves in softness,
to create their own stories,
and to discover that creativity itself is a kind of healing.
To celebrate, we’re offering a Moomin x Sarah’s Silks giveaway.
One winner will receive a curated bundle from our collection.

The timelessness of Tove Jannson’s stories is why I read her books a child and why I read them to my own child. Thanks for taking us to Moominland!

I grew up with the old Moomin cartoons, and am very excited to now introduce my own kids to these beloved characters.

It is when anything can happen—because you get to decide the adventure! I love to hear make believe stories from my grand kids. I spy with my little eyes and go on an adventure.

Imaginative play is a way out of survival mode for me – a way to connect with my children and share ideas and learn together. I’m not always good at it, but I try to be as present as possible. 🥰

I love Moomin! Being half-Finnish, it’s super exciting to see Moomin branded books and gifts. It’s so cute and whimsical.

I love that sarah’s silks has combined a favorite childhood memory into something my son already loves, the play silks! From ages 9 months to 4 years we’ve had so many uses for the silks and they’re such a staple in our daily play!

I’m so excited for this collection! My whole family loves Moomin and Sarah’s Silks. We love playing superheros with our silks, building forts, and finding all the characters on the find and seek silks.

Our silks get played with several times a week – they are so great for imaginative play. ❤️ We would love some Moomin-themed ones to add to our small collection!

What a fitting bundle for my little one who spent last week using her white scarf as Moominmamma’s apron as she stirred up some imaginary cloudberry jam and spent the summer caped out in green as Snufkin in search of a new tune! Both Moomin and Sarah’s Silks have made adding whimsy to my daughter’s life easy; what a treat to see this fabulous collab!

Imaginative play to me is something that should be a shared experience between all ages. Play is not limited to children and is a great opportunity as a mother to tap into your creative mind and have a chance to share a special moment with your child. Let’s be real, we all need to use a little imagination to escape our reality sometimes. With all the different opportunities with Sarah silks sets the possibilities are endless!

Imaginative Play means everything to me! I didn’t grow up with many toys, so we had to learn to make a lot out of nothing. We taped together cardboard boxes and colored the insides to look like rocket ships. We played with kitchen utensils in the dirt. We drew treasure maps and spent and played dress up with fabric scraps. I want to help my daughter build a beautiful imaginative world to explore and I love that this collection is built for just that!
