We are so happy to share our Moomin x Sarah’s Silks collection, inspired by Tove Jansson’s beloved world — a place that has quietly held generations of children (and grown-ups) in its gentle wisdom.

These are the same rhythms we hold dear in children’s play — open-ended, imaginative, and deeply nourishing.
Our new collection invites children to step into that world…
to wrap themselves in softness,
to create their own stories,
and to discover that creativity itself is a kind of healing.

We haven’t read Moomin yet, but I’m adding it to our “to be read” list. My daughter loves reading books by Margaret Wise Brown especially Goodnight Moon which she lovingly calls “night night moon”. We’ve had several copies throughout the years as she has learned how to care for her books.

My kiddo is 3.5 and he has a BIG imagination. I wasn’t prepared for just how adorable it would be when he started making pretend phone calls with his action figures, playing doctor to help heal them, and building Playdoh meals for his characters. Watching him engage with pretend play heals my inner child because I feel like I’m doing it right along with him!

I LOVE moomintroll! My husband lived in Finland for 2 years before we got married and so moomin holds a special place in our hearts. Our 2 little girls have become obsessed as well and especially love the characters, snorkmaiden and little my. Such an enchanting collection! I would love to be able to give every part of this collection to my girls! They would be in moomin heaven!

Imaginative play makes my heart sing. There is nothing like watch children giggle and play pretend. My son often pretends to be on a mission to help a friend in need.

Such a fun collection! I love imaginative play because it isn’t limited by what a toy can “do” and anything can be whatever you desire! My daughter has started imaginative playing finally and it’s so fun to watch and engage with her.
