We are so happy to share our Moomin x Sarah’s Silks collection, inspired by Tove Jansson’s beloved world — a place that has quietly held generations of children (and grown-ups) in its gentle wisdom.
In Moominvalley, stories unfold in simple ways:
a picnic, a wander, a moment of courage, a return home.
These are the same rhythms we hold dear in children’s play — open-ended, imaginative, and deeply nourishing.
Our new collection invites children to step into that world…
to wrap themselves in softness,
to create their own stories,
and to discover that creativity itself is a kind of healing.

Moomin holds such a special place in our hearts! When I was a surrogate three years ago, my daughters were introduced to it by the wonderful dads from Finland whose baby I was carrying. It was such a touching gesture; they brought little Moomin stuffies and books for both of my girls. Now, three years later, our sweet surrogate baby loves Moomin too, and all three girls feel so beautifully connected whenever they watch it. It’s a precious reminder of that extraordinary season, getting to know an incredible family and playing a small part in helping them begin. 💕🦡

I have fallen in love with Sarah’s Silks! It is such a perfect place to shop for open-ended, fun, imaginative play items that can grow with my son. This collection is no different. Moomin is already so whimsical in its character design, and these prints do not disappoint. My son would love playing with these and it would such a great introduction to the stories!

I absolutely love this collection! Moomin encapsulates the childlike wonder, softness in nature and curiosity that I hope to impart to my baby girl as she continues to grow! Moomin has always appeared during moments of growth for me, (during my childhood, when I went to study abroad for the first time) and now Moomin appears as my baby girl turns 1. I hope that Moomin appears for my baby in the same way, when there are moments of growth and progress in her life. My favorite characters are Little My and Moomintroll. While they are opposite in temperament, they both show facets of personality that I think are needed for different times, and show both the playfulness and vibrancy of the Moomin world that is so captivating and special to so many, including me. Hoping for the chance to share this collection with my little one!
